Fr. Apollinaire Muholongu Malu Malu is the President of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Fr. Malu Malu is accompanied by Mr. Sylvestre Somo Mwaka, Assistant to the President of the IEC, and Mr. Oswald Wanzalughendo Musavuli, Adviser.

He and the commission are currently engaged in organizing national elections for the more than 25 million registered voters who will go to an estimated 9,000 polling stations to cast ballots for the next president and members of the national parliament sometime in June or July 2006.
